Caplyzer and ECSAB Group Sign Letter of Intent for Green Hydrogen Pilot
A partnership to validate Caplyzer’s membrane-free, super-capacitive electrolyzer technology in real-world setting, targeting safe, cost-competitive and locally produced green hydrogen
Caplyzer AB, a Swedish deeptech company developing a next-generation green hydrogen electrolyzer, and ECSAB Group AB, a Swedish energy solutions company with specialist expertise in hydrogen production, energy optimization and smart facility management, announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to jointly execute a pilot project deploying Caplyzer’s proprietary electrolyzer technology.
The pilot marks a significant step in validating Caplyzer’s technology in real operational environment. Under the LOI, the two companies will collaborate to install and test Caplyzer’s electrolyzer unit, with the aim to demonstrate performance, cost efficiency, and scalability under real-world conditions. ECSAB Group is planning to build two energy systems in spring 2027, one for the agriculture sector and one for managing reserve power where Caplyzer’s technology’s safety and flexibility with intermittent power is especially interesting.
