Caplyzer AB: Created to Exploit Green Hydrogen Invention

Caplyzer AB has been created in April 2022 as a consequence of an invention within Green Hydrogen production. The inventors are Esteban Toledo and Joydeep Dutta.

Esteban Toledo , CTO, has skills, knowledge, and experience in the development of materials and electrochemical systems, both at academic and industrial levels. Just as he is in the process of founding Caplyzer, he is pursuing a Doctorate in Material Science, where he has been focusing his work on material design strategies for efficient and durable electrochemical devices. He has experience from several research fields such as advanced alloys, anti-corrosion systems, electrochemical devices, and functional nanomaterials. Esteban is super-analytic and a star on problem-solving.

Prof. Joydeep Dutta has been involved in research and development of capacitive deionization technology since 2006. Joy is currently the Chair of Functional Materials at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Developments over the last decade have made his research groups one of the Top 5 in the world in capacitive deionization technology. Within his department at, KTH Joy is building a group that is focusing on research on electrodes, electrolytes, and other related research areas around the electrolyzer cell. Besides leading the long-term research, he serves as a Chief Scientific Advisor to Caplyzer. Joy is exceptional in networking and identifying opportunities.
